The problem

Independent hotels constantly fight brand drift — vendors using the wrong logo, social posts in the wrong font, printed materials in off-brand colors. Without a centralized, always-accessible brand resource, every new designer, photographer, or agency partner starts from scratch and guesses. The result is a property that looks different depending on who made the last asset.

For a property operating on on-premise servers with no shared cloud file system, the problem was compounded — there was no reliable place to store or distribute brand files. Staff on phones and desktops had no consistent access to the right assets at the right time.

What I built

A self-contained brand portal hosted at the property’s domain, covering everything a vendor or team member needs to represent the brand correctly. No login required, no file downloads needed — just a URL any team member or external partner can reference instantly from any device.

The hub documents logo variations in full detail: which version to use where, correct clear space, approved backgrounds, and what to avoid. The full color palette is presented with hex codes, usage hierarchy, and pairing guidance. Typography is specified by font, weight, and application — headline, body, caption, and UI contexts each documented separately. A style guide section covers print and digital usage rules with visual examples of correct and incorrect application.
